Used Volvo Penta TAMD74A 247hp Six Cylinder Turbo Aftercooled Heat Exchanger Cooled Bobtail Marine Diesel Engine. IMO Specification. Commercially rated 247hp @ 2100RPM. One of a pair. In running order when removed from the vessel. Replaced due to the failure of its sister engine which suffered rain water ingress due to a faulty exhaust silencer. (Sister engine also available for spares if required). It has worked all its life on the inland waterways of Europe and as such, the cooling system components are in excellent condition. Very clean engine. Fully mechanical fuel system, not electronic diesel control (EDC).
